Labor Day 2025 was spent in Plainfield, NJ at the duCret Center of Art at Team Toyminator's 25th Anniversary Car Show. The entry rules were simple: cars 1999 and older, imports only. The weather was beautiful and I had no place else to be. For this post I'm just going to let the pictures speak for themselves and keep my commentary to a minimum. Enjoy.

There was a lot to like about this liftback.

It had a very clean 20v swap.

And I appreciated the club racer vibe.

However, I was really disappointed to see the harness mounting. This is flat out dangerous. Harness should be mounted as horizontal as possible, not deviating more than 20 degrees. In the event of a crash this type of mount will compress your spine and that's not good... So, to the guy with the super clean TE liftback, if you're reading this please fix your harness for your own good /rant.

You'll never guess which car I saw this sticker on.

Nice to see cars being used for their intended purpose.

Almost strange seeing a BEAMS in its natural habitat.

This is more of what I'm familiar with.

Shout out to the 300zx, my dad used to have a white 2+2 when I was in high school so I always appreciate seeing these.

There was a whole separate section for the rotary fans.

A rotary in a mustang.

Someone get a hold of Rob Dahm and arrange a race with his rotary powered Corvette.

This rotary swapped beetle was all about the details and I especially appreciated the creative use of dryer vents for air scoops.

I had the pleasure of attending this event several years ago.

Near the rotaries there was a great selection of Land Cruisers.

And tucked away in the back there as a very clean 4Runner. A story for another time is when I owned one of these for a week.

I like the rough and ready vibe of these Celicas. Kelvin Arreola where you at?

S chassis and Hondas were in attendance as well.

A very clean Aristo.

I was handing out stickers while I was at the show and I was rewarded with seeing my sticker on someone else's ride. Personally, this was a great finale to the end of a great show and great day.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures and hope to see you at the next event.
